Photographing you art WOrkshop

Want to showcase your artwork in the best possible light—literally?

This 2.5-hour hands-on workshop is designed specifically for artists who want to learn how to photograph their own work with clarity and confidence. Led by a seasoned commercial photographer & educator, Kris Walker, the session covers essential techniques for capturing both 2D and 3D pieces, using accessible tools and lighting setups. Whether you're working with canvas, sculpture, ceramics, or mixed media, you'll learn how to highlight texture, color, and form in a way that does justice to your craft.

The workshop includes live demonstrations, showing you how to adapt setups for different types of artwork and environments. You'll gain practical knowledge about camera angles, exposure, and composition, as well as tips for using smartphones or DSLRs. Perfect for artists preparing images for their website, social media, or portfolio submissions, this session is a great step toward presenting your work professionally—without needing a full studio setup.
